1. 引言

These terms govern your use of WanderPeng (wanderpeng.com), a China travel planning and custom tour service operated by Peng. By accessing this website, using its tools, contacting us via the chat widget, or engaging our planning services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

WanderPeng offers the following services:

• Travel information and guides — free blog content, destination guides, and travel tools published on our website
• AI chat assistant — an automated travel Q&A tool powered by artificial intelligence (see Section 5)
• Custom trip planning — personalised itinerary design based on your preferences, budget, and travel dates
• Newsletter — occasional email updates with China travel tips and stories (opt-in only, unsubscribe any time)

All services are provided on a best-effort basis. While I personally oversee every custom trip plan, I am an independent travel consultant, not a licensed travel agency.

3.1 Custom Trip Planning

• Pricing for custom itineraries is provided on a per-trip basis after an initial consultation
• Payment terms, deposit requirements, and full pricing are communicated in writing at the time of booking
• All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated
• Payments are processed securely through our trusted payment partners

3.2 Cancellation and Refunds

• Planning fees (consultation + itinerary design) are non-refundable once the itinerary has been delivered
• Deposits for bookings (hotels, guides, transport) are subject to the cancellation policies of our partner providers
• We will communicate partner cancellation policies clearly before you commit to any booking
• In the event of force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics), we will work with you to reschedule or recover what we can, but cannot guarantee full refunds from partners

When using our website or services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information for trip planning (incorrect information may affect visa applications, bookings, and travel)
• Obtain and maintain valid travel documents (passport with 6+ months validity, visa, etc.)
• Carry comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and personal liability
• Follow all local laws, regulations, and customs while travelling in China
• Not misuse our website — including scraping, automated access, or attempting to disrupt our services
• Not submit false or spam inquiries through our contact forms or chat widget

WanderPeng provides an AI-powered chat assistant as a free informational tool. By using the chat, you acknowledge the following:

• AI responses are generated by a language model and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
• Do not rely solely on AI responses for critical travel decisions — always verify visa requirements, prices, and regulations with official sources
• The AI chat is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or immigration)
• Chat conversations may be logged for service improvement and quality assurance
• If you share personal information in the chat (email, phone number), you consent to us contacting you regarding your travel plans

6. 新闻通讯与沟通

• You may subscribe to our newsletter voluntarily via the website or after a chat conversation
• You can unsubscribe at any time — every email includes an unsubscribe link
• We will never share, sell, or rent your email address to third parties
• Newsletter emails are sent via Resend, our email delivery service (see our Privacy Policy)

All content on wanderpeng.com — including but not limited to blog posts, travel guides, destination information, tool pages, photos, itinerary designs, and site code — is the intellectual property of Peng unless otherwise credited.

You may not, without written permission:

• Reproduce, redistribute, or republish our content on other websites or platforms
• Use our content for commercial purposes, including training AI models or creating derivative works
• Remove or alter copyright notices or attribution

Brief excerpts (quotes of fewer than 100 words with proper attribution and a link back to the original page) are allowed for journalistic, review, or educational purposes.

WanderPeng provides travel information and planning services in good faith, based on personal expertise and years of on-the-ground experience. However:

• We are not a licensed travel agency and do not hold ourselves out as one
